Welcome to the Attic Theatre International Film Festival 2024.
Following the successful Festival in 2023 with over 50 films shown to enthusiastic audiences we are now planning the Festival for 2024, where we’ll continue to screen an eclectic mix of short films from around the world.
Submitting Your Film
Submissions are invited to this second year of the Festival.
We have an eighty-seat auditorium in Newcastle Emlyn, south west Wales with a full size screen and quality projection equipment.
Films must be between 2 and 20 minutes long and can be in any format.
Films made at any time are eligible for entry to the Festival.
Submissions will be viewed by our panel for acceptance into the festival.
The deadline for submissions is 30th August 2024.

If possible the link should enable us to download the film so it can be viewed by the panel before entering it into the festival.

The Festival award categories are:
- Drama
- Documentary
- Animation
- Experimental
- Best Made in Wales
- Best overall film
All films selected for an award will receive the Festival’s official laurel and the custom certificate of achievement according to their final status in the competition.
